Where can I find volunteer performers needed for a fundraiser in San Francisco?

I currently work at a law firm in San Francisco, and am on the firm's fundraising comittee (for the local charities that we contribute to throughout the year) and am looking for voluntary student or experienced performers (whether it be acting, improv, singing, or etc. ) to bring in to perform for the fundraiser. I'm looking at a couple of the local art schools for right now, however in the meantime, does anybody have any suggestions as to who I might be able to contact or have a recommendation as to what to try?

A. The first thing you need to do it be specific about the charities you support; people would be more willing to participate for no pay if they feel they're supporting a charity they believe in. Contact Theatre Bay Area, then try Improv Alliance, which has a newsletter for local improvisors who might be interested.
