Does the high school musical microphone work on guitar hero 5 for ps3?
Q. I checked many stores and none sell just a microphone itself (from rock band and guitar hero). I did see a microphone from disneys high school musical used for 20$ and not sure if i should get it for my guitar hero game. Does anyone know if it would be compatible because once i buy it, i cant bring it back if it doesnt work.

A. It will. Guitar Hero, Rock Band and the singing games (except SingStar) all use the same Logitech USB microphone, just with different logos on it. You could even use the SingStar microphones for GH5.

A. Actually , there will be for sure be a HSM 4 ! lol but it is not being filmed right now, there working on a script right now then there going to have auditions and everything after that. It's gonna start filming around... late spring next year. None of the original cast will be in it, it will star the newbies matt prokop, jemma brown,and justin martin and it will air straight back to Disney channel ! lol Yeah, disney isn't letting this die they'll probably have at least 5 or 6 since there starting a whole new story line with this next one. A. For Sharpay, I would say either "Popular" from Wicked, or "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid. Also, "Trolley Song" from Meet Me in St. Louis. For Kelsey, also "Part of Your World," since it's just an overall excellent audition choice. It showcases your voice and range very well. I believe she does play the piano in it, but that could easily be faked in your production. Good Luck!

Yes any microphone with a usb connection ot then end will work - there's only one problem, star power, with a normal guitar hero mic the handle is touch sensitive so you can hit it and star power will work but with the other mics you have to use the minus button on the wiimote to make it work - not really a big deal, just thought you should know hope it helps xx
